Protection at the mechanical structure level
In terms of preventing accidental locking, the precision plastic mold car door lock has a sophisticated design in terms of mechanical structure. Many car door locks are equipped with a double locking structure, and the main lock tongue completes the basic locking function under normal circumstances. Inside the lock body, there will be an auxiliary lock tongue or lock mechanism. When the car door is in an abnormal closed state, such as when there is an object blocking it, this auxiliary structure can prevent the main lock tongue from being completely locked. For example, the auxiliary lock tongue of some car door locks will be connected to the sealing strip detection device of the car door. When the seal strip is abnormally squeezed, indicating that the car door is not closed normally, the auxiliary lock tongue will block the movement path of the main lock tongue to prevent accidental locking.
Electronic sensing and feedback mechanism
Modern car door locks are often equipped with electronic sensing systems. Sensors are installed near the door frame and door locks. These sensors can detect the distance, angle, and whether there are foreign objects between the door and the body. When the sensor detects an abnormal situation, such as the door is not completely closed or the distance exceeds the normal range, it will transmit a signal to the car's central control system. The central control system will prevent the door lock motor from performing the locking action, or trigger an alarm to remind the driver. In addition, some high-end car door locks can also judge the owner's intention through the induction of the smart key. If the owner is near the door and the door is not closed normally, the system will also avoid mislocking.
Logic control and program setting
In the control program of the car door lock, there is a strict logic to prevent mislocking. It will integrate the signals of multiple sensors and the status information of the vehicle. For example, when the vehicle is in the starting state or the gear is not in the parking gear, the door lock system will have special control logic to limit the automatic door locking function or make additional judgments on the door locking action. Even if the person in the car accidentally operates the door lock button, the system will decide whether to execute the door lock based on the current vehicle status and sensor feedback, thereby preventing the occurrence of mislocking.
Humanized design and warning function
The car door lock also has some humanized designs to prevent mislocking. For example, set an obvious warning sign near the inner door handle to remind passengers to pay attention to the door closing when getting off the car. At the same time, when the door lock detects a possible mislock situation, in addition to the above-mentioned locking prevention action, it will also attract the attention of the driver and passengers through flashing lights and sound prompts in the car to ensure that the door can be closed and locked correctly, avoiding the inconvenience and potential safety hazards caused by mislocking.
